Our Staff

Sharon Hiner was born and raised in San Diego, graduated as a medical assistant in 1996. Sharon has been with Dr. Bolitho since 2001 and is currently Dr. Bolitho's office manager as well as his medical assistant. She assists him in the clinic and in operating room when needed. What she enjoys most is taking care of pre and postoperative patients.

Kandie Astephen has been working with Dr. Bolitho and his practice since 2004. Initially as the receptionist and is currently the Patient Coordinator. Kandie multi-tasks throughout the office, though her primary role is scheduling consultations, postoperative appointments as well as coordinating all surgeries. She also assists in special projects and marketing.

Jen Jarvie has been working with Dr. Bolitho since January 2012. She assists with individualized patient care throughout the surgical experience by educating before surgery, assisting during, and recovering patients after. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at The University of San Francisco in 2010. Since then she has done volunteer nursing work abroad and worked as an RN at a medical spa doing aesthetic procedures. Jen is passionate about her nursing and looks forward to working with her patients every day.

Kate Stroud earned her BSN from the University of Vermont in May of 2010 and subsequently received her License through the California Board of Registered Nursing. She is an East Coast native and moved to San Diego in search of a nursing career. She has a passion for nursing and is dedicated to providing the best care for her patients. As part of Dr. Bolitho's surgical team she follows patients preoperatively, in the operating room, and makes sure that each patient's recovery is as smooth and comfortable as possible.
