LATISSE® is the brand name for the only FDA approved product that increases the length, thickness, and dark color of eyelashes. The Best Candidates for LATISSE

Since the full results may take up to 16 weeks to develop, patience is important. This product isn't a substitute for mascara; however, it can be used in conjunction with mascara for a better overall effect.

Using LATISSE
You can safely apply your prescription LATISSE at home if you follow the instructions carefully:
- Remove your contact lenses and clean your face to remove any makeup or oils
- Apply your regular facial care products to the rest of your face
- Take a sterile applicator from the tray and add a single drop of LATISSE near the tip
- Close your eye and use the applicator to apply the solution gently along your upper eyelid at the base of the lashes where they meet the skin
- Throw the applicator away and use a fresh one for the other eyelid
Precautions
Avoid brushing this product beyond the edge of your upper eyelid - it may cause unwanted hair growth. Blot any excess with a tissue. Don't use LATISSE on your lower lids. Try not to get it in your eye. This product is a sterile bimatoprost 0.03% ophthalmic solution. If you do accidentally drip a small amount of LATISSE in your eye, don't wash it out; it won't hurt you.
- If you skip a day in your treatment regimen, simply return to your regular schedule
- Never apply the solution twice in one day
- Prevent eye infection by ensuring that the bottle tip and the applicator don't touch anything (such as your fingertips) that isn't completely sterile
- Don't reinsert contact lenses until 15 minutes after your LATISSE treatment
Expected Results
Growing eyelashes takes time. It may be difficult to tell when they first begin to get thicker, longer, and darker. If possible, take a photo once per month so you can track your progress.
Results from clinical trials demonstrate that most users experience a 25% increase in lash length after 16 weeks of treatment. Many patients notice some improvement after the first 8 weeks. Continued use of this solution is required to maintain the luxurious effect.
Risks & Complications
Eye redness and itching of the eyes may occur in rare cases. If this happens to you, consult with our trained staff. They may be able to work with you to reduce these symptoms. For example, they can help ensure that you are applying the product correctly and not overdoing it.
Seek medical care immediately if you have the symptoms of a bacterial eye infection or if you experience changes in vision while using LATISSE.
