Operating Suite

Dr. Bolitho's operating suite is nationally accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. To achieve this level of accreditation, every AAAASF-accredited ambulatory surgery facility must meet stringent national standards for equipment, operating room safety, personnel and surgeon credentials.

Most surgeries are done under general anesthesia which is administered by board certified anesthesiologists. The personnel, anesthesiologist, RN staff and operating room technician are highly trained professionals attentive to your special needs and privacy.

Following surgery, Dr. Bolitho's experienced nursing staff will carefully monitor you. You will be provided with detailed and easy to understand post-operative instructions to take with you as you continue your recovery at home. Your recovery is important to us as we can arrange for post-surgery recovery needs with a home nurse, hotel accommodations or an overnight stay at Scripps Memorial Hospital if necessary.
